High-Efficiency Optimization Algorithm of PMEPR for OFDM Integrated Radar and Communication Waveform Based on Conjugate Gradient

The tone reservation (TR) approach is mainly adopted to reduce the peak-to-mean envelope power ratio (PMEPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform with low TR (TRR) in classic 4G communication systems. However, for OFDM integrated radar and waveform, high TRR necessary simultaneously maintain detection performance as well performance. For cases TRR, traditional optimization algorithms have execution efficiency a poor PMEPR convergence level, thus new algorithm needed. This paper proposes based on conjugate gradient. Firstly, by introducing concept Lp-norm, accurately remodeled objective function problem. Secondly, gradient analytically derived form basis efficient optimization. Finally, Polak–Ribière–Polyak (PRP) proposed. simulation results verified proposed terms efficiency, initial experimental suggested practicality algorithm.
